New Mac OS (Big Sur) incompatible with Pulse Secure VPN

Enterprise Technology & Services recommends that students, faculty and staff using Mac devices DO NOT upgrade to the latest Mac OS, Big Sur, as it is not compatible with Pulse Secure VPN.

Apple released Big Sur Nov. 12, 2020. Because it does not support Pulse Secure VPN, users who upgrade may have difficulty remotely accessing many academic and administrative applications, including those listed here:

We will provide additional information after Pulse Secure has released a fix.

Go.Granite Email and MS Teams Unavailable to Granite State College Students and Faculty on 2/22

During the scheduled Go.Granite email and MS Teams migration on Monday, February 22, 2021, these systems will be offline and unavailable to students and faculty starting at 8:00 a.m. It is anticipated that the work will be completed in 6 hours. However, it is possible that it will take longer. An announcement will be posted in Moodle when the migration is complete.

Microsoft 365 Login Page Update (UNH & GSC) on Mon. 2/22

On Monday, February 22, customers at Granite State College and the University of New Hampshire (all locations) will see a new login page when prompted to login to Microsoft 365. This new page includes branding for each of the University System of New Hampshire institutions.

You may continue to log in using your existing username and password.

Password and Identity Systems on Sun. 2/28

On Sunday, February 28, between 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM, maintenance will affect multiple systems, including:

  • CAMP & ID Lookup Tool
  • UNH Accounts Management System
  • All USNH Password Self Service applications
  • USNH, UNH, GSC Banner - USNH ID form validation unavailable during the maintenance
  • UNH Parent Portal - no new accounts, no password or email changes
    • Note: all other Parent Portal functionality will be unaffected

Access to these systems and their full functionality will be restored at the end of the maintenance window.

Banner unstable

USNH Banner Finance, USNH Banner HR, and UNH/GSC Banner Student are currently unstable, causing intermittent issues for users. Users are asked to stay out of Banner, Xtender, AppMan, Workflow, etc. Webcat, WebROCK, WISE, and UNH Parent Portal are also affected.

System administrators are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.

  • All Services have been restored.

  • UNH/GSC Banner Student, including Webcat, WebROCK, and UNH Parent Portal, are still down while system administrators continue working to resolve the issue.

  • Services for USNH Banner Finance and USNH Banner HR, including WISE, have been restored.

    UNH/GSC Banner Student, including Webcat, WebROCK, and UNH Parent Portal, will be down until later this evening while services are restored.
